The Centre for Mental Health  provides information and resources to individuals with mental health issues, their families and the community at large, including educational and skills development workshops.  The Centre for Mental Health provides an array of information resources including: 

Grand River Mental Health and Addictions Directory:  This directory provides a comprehensive listing of mental health and related resources in the Region of Waterloo and Wellington - Dufferin Counties.  It is accessible by phone, by visiting the Centres for Mental Health or on the web

Brochures and Information Sheets:  The Canadian Mental Health Association Grand River Branch provides brochures and information sheets about CMHA and community services in additional to relevant information about mental health issues.

Internet Access:  Internet access is available in each of the Centres as an information resource.

Workshops and Educational Events:  The Centres for Mental Health  sponsor workshops and educational events in addition to providing information about workshops and educational events within the community.

Access to Office Equipment:  Access to office equipments (such as computers, fax machines and telephones) that assist people to link more effectively with community resources and with one another is available in each Centre for Mental Health.

Community Education:  Various community educational services are provided through the Centre for Mental Health  including presentations to schools, service clubs and organizations, information displays and participation in health fairs and community events.
