Sorry Cousins are a modern stringband lead by banjo player, composer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Posgate. They play instrumental music that is mostly from Posgate’s unique and quirky pallet of bluegrass, Irish, jazz and folk music. When they play a vocal number you might hear them playing a sea shanty, a classic bluegrass number or covering a Travelling Willburys song. As a bandleader Posgate has been travelling with his bands for more than 15 years and 7 CD releases on Guildwood Records including travels to Europe and the US and all the major Canadian festivals.
