Last summer the Downtown Guelph Business Association held an event called “All Access Downtown Guelph”, celebrating accessibility in the downtown core.

Organized by the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) and together with the help from Guelph Accessibility Project (GAP) and the Guelph Wellington Senior’s Association (GWSA) an Accessibility map and Business toolkit was designed and distributed to all the Downtown Guelph businesses.

  • The Business Toolkit was designed to equip the business owners with the information to refine their environment to fit the needs of all of their customers.  All Access Business Tool Kit

  • The Accessibility Map offers an outline of Downtown Guelph’s accessible parking, accessible washrooms and Stop Gap store locations, benches and more. Accessibility Map of Downtown Guelph

It is one of our goals at the DGBA to work towards a barrier-free downtown.
